Prophetic Legacy Institute ("PLI," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Maricopa County, Arizona. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you enter:
- Membership applications — name, email, phone, city, household size, profession or skills, how you'd like to contribute, and, if you choose, your faith community affiliation.
- Startup grant applications — name, email, phone, business details, your written answers, and any business plan you attach.
- Volunteer sign-ups — name, email, phone, areas of interest, availability, and your message.
- Contact messages and chat requests — name, email, phone, and your message.
- Community Rolodex applications — business name, category, description, contact email and phone, website, city, member discount, and any logo you attach.
- Event RSVPs — name, email, phone, number of guests, and notes.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address.
Please don't include sensitive details, such as health information or account numbers, in free-text fields.
Donations
Donations are processed by Zeffy. You enter your payment details directly with Zeffy; PLI never receives or stores your card or bank information. Zeffy issues your tax receipt and handles your information under its own privacy policy. We receive donor records, such as your name, email, and gift amount, so we can thank you and keep required records.
Information collected automatically
We count page visits (the page viewed and the name of the website that referred you) to learn which pages are helpful. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of individual visitors. The companies that host and deliver this site may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to operate and protect it. The embedded Zeffy donation form may use its own cookies to process your gift. Our chat assistant runs in your browser and answers from a set of common questions; nothing you type there is sent to us unless you choose to share your contact details. If you use voice input in the chat, your browser's own speech service converts your speech to text; we don't receive or store audio.
How we use your information

- To send confirmation and status emails related to what you submitted
- To send our quarterly newsletter, if you subscribed
- To run our programs, events, and the Community Rolodex
- To keep the records required of a nonprofit and to protect this site from abuse
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with others for their marketing.
Who can see your information
Your submissions are stored in a private, access-controlled system available only to PLI's board and authorized administrators. We use trusted service providers to operate this site (website hosting and data storage, email delivery, business email, donations, and newsletters), and they may process your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of PLI, our members, or others.
Community Rolodex listings: if your listing is approved, the details you submit for the directory (business name, category, description, city, website, contact email, phone, and member discount) are published publicly on this site.
Email choices
Confirmation and status emails relate to something you submitted. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter anytime using the link in any newsletter email or by emailing info@propheticlegacyinstitute.com.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we're required by law to keep it.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with us, email info@propheticlegacyinstitute.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access limited to authorized board members. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send highly sensitive information through this site.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date.
